Established in 2019, Ellis Farms is dedicated to preserving the heritage, strength, and spirit of pure Spanish Mustangs from Choctaw ancestry. Rooted in the values of hard work, integrity, respect, and honor for the history behind this rare breed, our mission is to raise horses that carry forward both quality and legacy.

The foundation of this work reaches back to 1991, when Jesse Ellis's horsemanship journey first began under the guidance of respected horsemen whose knowledge, dedication, and commitment to preserving the Choctaw Spanish Mustang and its legacy left a lasting impact. Their mentorship continues to shape the values behind Ellis Farms—patience, respect, responsibility, and a genuine understanding of the horse.

As an Iraq War Veteran and proud Oklahoman, Jesse brings strong country values and a deep appreciation for western tradition into the breeding and preservation operation. Ellis Farms is committed to more than breeding exceptional horses; it is committed to protecting a living piece of American history, honoring the Oklahoma way of life, and sharing the spirit of the American West with future generations.
